Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

- Keep Miche and Tian in prayer as they're both overseas. Miche in HK for a short trip, Tian in Malaysia for a relative's birthday.
- Continue to keep JJ in prayer - for strength and wisdom in the midst of his family crisis. Pray especially for his 4th January accounting examination, there is much to gain if he should pass this exam.
- Auntie Elsie gave thanks that she managed to get Anisia's christmas present after scouting for quite a bit.
- Pray for Dan and Ani as they both have a busy year ahead with increased responsibilities.
- Keep Linda in prayer, she's down with flu.
- Pray for Uncle D as he has exams coming up!
- Eema, Dan, Uncle D, Uncle Jeff gave thanks and praise to God for the great weather during baptism service and the whole proceeding of the carolling event. Selwyn also thanked everyone for the warm reception!
- Auntie Grace gave thanks that she managed to wrap up the year's closing and gave thanks for a week of rest after a punishing previous week of work. She is supposed to travel in Jan and hopes it won't clash with Uncle D's trip.
- Shu gave thanks for her satisfactory results, and the confirmation that she will major in psychology.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

- Pray for Reena as she recuperates from her minor operation last week. Pray for speedy recovery
- Continue to pray for JJ as he faces a challenging time at home. Pray for courage and strength.
- Pastor reminded the congregation to continue to uphold those considering and getting baptised.
- Beck gave thanks for a part-time job opportunity which she has introduced to Shu and JJ too.
- Emmanuel gave thanks that his interview went well, and will be enrolled in Kuo C*huan Pres for the new year.
- Tian gave thanks that she managed to get through the mentally exhausting seminar over the weekend. While the experience was poor, she gave thanks that this has allowed her relationship with her mum to be stronger and more open with each other. She gave thanks as well for the fantastic weather during her hiking trip to JB, praising God for his blessing and answered prayer. That said, keep her in prayer as she travels out to Cambodia this Tues to Fri.
- Shu gave thanks that over the course of the past months, her choice of major has become clearer and more evident to her.
- Sherwin requested prayer for wisdom in deciding his electives by the 28th of this month. These electives will ultimately determine his course and probably his internship in the coming semesters. He also requested prayer for his hives, the condition is back and he seeks recovery even though he gave thanks that his mum did not overreact as on a previous occasion.
- Dan gave thanks that the carrolling outreach at Mt. E hospital went well. Keep Joshua in prayer as he goes for his innoculation jab next week.
- Eunice requested prayer for Sean - that he will have smoother bowel movement. She gave thanks for the rain as well, because Lee Huat could join us for service!
- Fiona gave thanks for the good Christian influences in her life and how she realised the power in the words we profess. She requested prayer for help to let her parents know and gain their approval for her desire to go to Thailand to do missionary work after her graduation.
- Sam gave thanks for his Edusave good progress award!
- Keep Auntie Grace in prayer as she has a hectic week ahead, pray that there will be no hiccups in the company closing as well as inventory checks so that all can be completed on time.
- Uncle D gave thanks that his DVT check-up with the doctor has positive results. The condition is better and he is off his wafering. Meanwhile, keep him in prayer as his 2nd assignment's deadline is nearing.

- Thank God for Joshua's recovery, just in time for his birthday party. Praise God for his healing!
- Vinson gave thanks for the enjoyable time he had in camp and for Daniel's very timely encouragement as he prepared to lead worship during the camp.
- Linda also gave thanks for the good time at the camp, particularly that it turned out better than expected. She gave thanks for God's mighty work on the weather, halting the showers at timely moments to facilitate the camp.
- Keep Tian in prayer for her sprained/twisted back.
- Beck requested prayer that a suitable candidate for the position of alumni president will come along to relieve her off her duties.
- Sherwin gave thanks that he's back safely from HK, he gave thanks that while he had a bad stomach just before he left, the effects were minimal during his trip there. He requested prayer for his Japanese exam, pray that he'll pass!
- Keep Serene in prayer as she travels to Malaysia next week for an outdoor adventure camp. She'll also be participating heavily in her inter-hall games next week so pray for safekeeping!
- Eunice gave thanks that Sean has responded well to the vacccination, pray that Sean will be able to sleep well so that mother and child can rest properly.
- Pray for Emmanuel as he goes for his Kuo C*huan interview on Monday morning, 930am.
- JJ gave thanks for God's work during the StandChart race, despite facing disqualification, with perseverance and God's grace, they managed to obtain validation for their run timings in the end.
- Pray for Jo and the accident she got into, please pray that the whole paper work process will be smoothly completed, that the Malaysian's can be contacted and the claims can proceed. Pray for her neck as well as she sustained a neck injury during the collision.

- Health-related:
- Dan gave thanks that he managed to recover from his mid-week bout of diarrhoea.
- Keep Joshua in prayer as he's down with a lung infection, thank God that his fever has subsided.
- Xiuxiu gave thanks that her gastric flu is much better, and she requested prayer for full recovery.
- Keep Ah-Mah in prayer - she has a bad cough and possible lung infection resulting in poor sleep. Pray for good rest and strengthening.
- Xiuxiu shared about her immensely hectic week at work, and gave thanks for God's miraculous work - assuring her through his word and helping her with the company hiccups. She will be travelling to Malaysia this week and will return to Singapore on the 15th.
- Vinson requested prayer for cohesion as he, tian and linda will be involved with the youth camp & worship sessions. He also requested prayer for his job interview this monday afternoon.
- Jon requested prayer for his JC retreat as his committee brainstorm and plan the theme for next year.
- Shu gave thanks that her Wednesday paper was okay and has 3 more papers this week. She also requested prayer for her friend's mum in the grieving process over the dragonboating mishap.
- Uncle Jeff requested prayer for Victoria who is away in Vietnam on a teaching assignment till the end of the week.
- Pray for Sherwin as he travels to HK for a short holiday Mon to Fri night.
- Uncle D gave thanks for his good results and requested prayer for his assignment due on the 21st.
- Emmanuel gave thanks for God's protection during his competition and for the blessing of the edusave award. He requested prayer for God's direction and good timing over his school transfer. He has an interview with Kuo C*huan on the 10th while his application to Maris S*tella will be out next week.
- Pray for Jo as she has several important deadlines and assignments due by the 15th of this month.
