Prayer and Thanksgiving

Sharing (29th August 09)

Continue to pray with Jo as she checks out an apartment this week. Pray that God wil provide the best, and that she will be able to settle in fast.
Praise and thank God for providing our church with a very good drummer, Wen, who will be a great help in the production of the CD. Pray that the songs and lyrics in the CD will not only help to raise funds but also draw listeners closer to God. Pray for Jon as God provides and sustains him as he coordinates the production, and also pray for his liaison with Wen.
Vinson gave thanks that his exams are over. Pray also for his driving test on 3rd Sept, at 2.45pm.
Shu gave thanks for the kendo welcome tea. It went well and smooth with no hiccups!
Pray that they will have a group of interested and committed juniors. Continue to pray that Shu will work hard in her studies too.
Dan thanked God that the family was safe in the car accident. Pray for healing for Dan
and Ani's stiff neck. Thank God too for the provision of a temporary rental car.
Serene was not well during the week, but she thanks God for His healing as she rested, and for her friends' prayers.
Keep Mich in prayer for God's protection, as she faces challenges at camp. Pray also that she will be able to stand firm in her faith.
Ellyna thanked God that she was able to do well at work, that her boss was pleased with her work.
Aunty Elsie gave thanks that her niece and nephew are safely back from Australia.
Keep Uncle Derrick in prayer for his work situation. Pray for God’s provision of business.

Prayer and Thanksgiving

Sharing (22 August 2009)

Aunty Florence is not well with a fever. Pray that God’s healing will be upon her.
Continue to pray with Jo for God’s provision and confirmation as she sources for accommodation, and that she will be able to settle in before her school begins.
Keep Uncle Jeff and Aunty Esther in prayer for God’s strength, wisdom and understanding.
Thanksgiving for God's financial provision thus far (and more to come!) for the production of the church's music CD. Continue to pray with the church as the CD is being recorded, and especially for Jon who’s coordinating the production process.
Shu gave thanks to God for the provision of a good and cohesive Exco for her Kendo team. She thanks God too for encouraging her as she takes on the role of a leader. Pray that the team’s welcome tea on Monday will go smoothly.
Pray that God will provide a good committee for Serene too as she heads the committee interview on Monday for her gourmet club.
JJ says hello to all!
Mich Tay is entering camp next week. Her training will last 9 months. Keep her in prayer, that God will provide the sustenance, protection, and good faith as she undergoes training. Pray also for understanding as she learns to mingle with people of other cultures.
Sam gave thanks that his oral went well. Pray for him as he sits for his preliminary exam this Monday to Thursday.
Ani's had her first week back at school. As her workload increases, pray that God will enable her to cope with the transition.
Dan gave thanks for Charissa’s recovery from her illness. Continue to pray for God’s healing of her skin. Dan gave thanks too for his easier load in school as he takes on a heavier role at home.
Ellyna gave thanks to God for delivering her through a very challenging week at work. Keep her in prayer as she prepares for an important presentation at work this coming week, and that God will continue to faithfully provide for her.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Update

Sharing (16th august)

Jo is safe in NY (: pray for her that God will continue to provide for her accommodation.
Jon gave thanks for the completion of his assignment and a good grade, as well as for the extension of a dateline. Pray for him as he continues to work through his assignments. He also won his school's talentime!! Praise God!
Ani's going back to school on Monday! Pray that God will enable her to handle the class well, and that she will have a smooth transition despite the big changes in her daily schedule.
Also keep Dan in prayer as he takes on a bigger role at home.
Pray for Samuel as he sits for his Preliminary exam on Monday, and his PSLE oral exam on Thursday and Friday.
Mich Tay's going to start work this week. She is grateful for the shiftwork that has been offered to her. Pray that she will have a smooth transition into working life as well.
Shu gave thanks to God that she has gotten all her modules, and she does not have to make an appeal. She is also thankful that she enjoys and likes all her modules. With regards to her Kendo duties, please pray for wisdom as she organizes her club events.
Beck gave thanks that she has gotten her last module, and that her very early morning maths lecture is now webcasted. She is also glad to have a passionate and inspiring professor.
Vinson’s exams begin on the last week of August (in 2 weeks’ time). Pray that he will be motivated to begin his revision.
Do pray for the recovery of Uncle Jeff’s sprained thumb. :(
and also for Linda’s sprained thumb, which she sustained in a game of handball.
Continue to pray for Xiuxiu, for God to provide a tenant to takeover her lease.
Pray for uncle derrick’s client, and also for God to work during their last session together. Uncle D's recently started a 15 week course (Windows of Addiction). Pray that it will be a time of good learning for him (:
