Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

Pray for Auntie Jane’s sister and her three kids who are down with HFMD, flu and rashes.
Pray for Ani as she has to pick her class for 2009 by Wednesday
Serene shared that her dental operation went well and gave thanks for the speedy recovery.
Pray for Dan, Jo, Eunice and baby Sean who fell sick during the week, pray for quick recovery.
Sherwin gave thanks for God’s sustenance despite having a fussy lecturer. He managed to finish his assignment under the stressful conditions. He also gave thanks for his dad’s safekeeping and his friends who provided good companionship during the stressful period.
Continue to pray for Vinson as he works on his assignment and still has another 20% to go.
Tian gave thanks for a great time in Kedah and a safe trip to and fro alone. Her mum has also expressed interest to come and watch Tian play keys during worship, pray that this will be fulfilled and work will not hinder her mum from coming. Lastly, she gave thanks that her back pain is gone and did not affect her trip to Kedah!
Shu requested prayer for the NUS students as they begin module bidding next week.
Pray for Emmanuel as he has tests and exams next week wed-fri. He also strained his hamstring during swimming this week.
Pray for Uncle Derrick as he fits into his new work environment and settles down to his new role and new projects that are coming his way. Continue to pray for his practicum as he tries to chalk up the hours.
Michelle gave thanks for a good week away at camp. She came away refreshed despite falling sick midway. She has taken a step of faith to take the lead for a small cell in ntu, pray for wisdom. She also gave thanks that the company which she interned at has offered to hire her after her varsity education.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

Dan gave thanks that Joshua is fitting in well into pre-school. Work has been busy for Dan but he is glad for a compatible work colleague.
Emmanuel requested prayer for his test and a running competition next week. He requested prayer for his sore throat.
Michelle gave thanks that her attachment is over. Pray for her as she goes for a camp from Mon-Fri.
Pray for Uncle Estee as work pressure piles up.
Linda shared about her exam results which weren't too satisfactory. She shared about her new class timetable which is packed with remedial lessons. Pray for her as she tries to get accustomed to the new schedule and to start preparing herself for the prelims in 6 weeks.
Vinson requested prayer for inspiration and ideas as he has to come up with a program for his module this term.
Rebecca shared about how she was encouraged in her faith by other random fellow Christians at her attachment.
Pray for Uncle D as he begins work next week. Pray for wisdom as he takes on his new management role. Also, pray for him as he juggles the counselling sessions.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Update

Daniel gave thanks for God's timing and provision of a good child care center. Pray for the family as they adjust to Joshua's new schooling program
Pray for Emmanuel's sore throat and flu as well as Auntie Grace's ear infection.
Pray for Serene's dental operation and driving test this Thurs. She gave thanks for God's protection during her short getaway to Tioman last week. She requested prayer for application to be allocated a hall room.
Eunice gave thanks for God's provision and the aid she received in the past weeks, making the house shifting a smooth transition. Pray for her as she considers a career change and has decisions to make by this Thurs. Pray for Sean who is having a persistent running nose.
Tian gave thanks for God's timely provision of a bus ticket back up to Kedah. She also gave thanks that she was allocated a hall room. Finally, pray for journey mercy as she travels up next week Tues-Sun and for her aching tailbone.
Pray for Uncle D as he heads towards the final weeks of work as he deals with sensitive issues. Pray that he will be able to transit out of work smoothly. Continue to pray for Godly wisdom as he deals with his clients.
Pray for the NUS students as they start preparing for the start of term and choosing modules.

Prayer and Thanksgiving Updates

Michelle requested prayer for her family and herself as they are away in Batam.
Jo gave thanks for a good time in Bangkok and a great week at work.
Dan had a bad week at work with loads of deadlines but he gave thanks for good rest at the end of the week. Pray also for his skin condition which has flared up.
Vinson gave thanks for a coming week of rest thanks to e-learning week!
Tian gave thanks for a temp job provision.
Pray for Sherwin's dad who will be flying to Vietnam next week. He requested prayer for his hives which are affecting his sleep.
Linda gave thanks her exams are over!
Anisia had a challenging time with an injured pupil yesterday but gave thanks that there was nothing serious.
Uncle D gave thanks for a good week of counselling sessions. He also continued to encourage our HFC sharing sessions. Continue to pray that he can finish as many practicum hours as possible and start on his case report before he begins work. Lastly he gave thanks for the great insightful supervision provided by Rev. Kunar.
Samuel gave thanks that he did well in his 1.6km run this week.
Fiona also shared about Pastor's message that touched her heart and requested prayer for discernment as she seeks God's direction and purpose for her mission work.
